I bought your app after seeing you answer a question on coffee brewing on some forum where you mentioned it at the same time. It works really well and its simple, I use it every day even though I have the timing and dosage memorized. I think I do it for the pleasant gong sound when the coffee is finished. I do believe theres a mistake though when you read about press pot it says bloom time 30sec but the timer gives you 1min . I dont know which is right or better. Anyways, good luck with your app!

Got the ratio sorted out with supper fast response from support. This is a great app that I recommend to all my customers especially since most of them are new to coffee and exact brewing times and measurements are important to them. Once the ratio settings can be customized for each brew method itll be a five star rating.

Really want sound and vibration support like the old version. A simple chime when the bloom in my presspot is done would be helpful

I brew in many different ways and this app lets me know Im getting control of essential variables every time.

The ratio calculation saves me a couple steps over a calculator. Having multiple timers seems like a useful feature for coffee shops. A "restore to defaults" button for the brew ratios would be nice for someone using the app to learn a new brewing method (you mess with the dials and then want to go back to the settings the app comes with). Also, something is a little off about the buttons. They dont seem very sensitive away from the center of the button, which feels out of place for iOS.

I guess I expected a lot more from this in terms of settings. When in the morning do I have time to find scales to weigh water and coffee? Would be very helpful to be able to alter the measurement units. Say fluid ounces for water and tsp for coffee ( taking into account the grind needed for each device used)

Given the highly idiosyncratic nature of optimal coffee brewing it is disappointing that there is little customization possible using this app--cant adjust brew time except bloom, no place for grind info, or additional recipe aspects (stirring, water temp, lunge duration), ratio is calculated non intuitively (typically reported as H2O gms : Coffee gms not the inverse as in app).

I tend to brew coffee of many different types with many different gadgets. So Brew Control really helps me remember which ratio of beans to water works best with Aeropress, french press, pour over, etc. Not very pretty, and slightly clunky, but an indispensable part of my brewing routine.

Ive been using this app for quite a while, and it is great for experimenting with different ratios. The ability to utilize grams and ounces is a nice touch. Definitely a great tool for dialing in coffees on different brewing methods.

Ive been using this app for many, many months now as a part of my morning routine. Im an Aeropress guy who loves to tinker with various brew methods, so this app allows me to constantly tweak and fine tune my process. Ive even been able to adjust the times & volumes in order to come up with an "Aeropress for Two" method. I simply love being able to consistently execute my finely tuned methods. Oh, and I do use it occasionally with my french press, too.

Crashes upon opening every time. Considering the last update was almost 2 years ago Id guess that support for this app has ended. Avoid.

Alas! My go-to coffee ratio app has been remade into a garish cartoon that hurts my eyes. Thankfully I was able to turn off auto updates before my iPhone removed the old app. No doubt this version brings more features but its design is so misguided I will have to pass. I wish the developer well, but mostly I wish he’d get a UI design consultant. Previous: My daily companion for more than 4 years. Unlike a lot of iOS software, this app doesnt need much in the way of updates. Its amazing as it is. This is a great app for managing the preparation of just about every brewing method. The app has a great looking UI and works well. Recent improvements make an already great app better.

This upgraded design has clearly been made for elegant, simple usability. Bravo. Nice improvement (though, this app has always been useful).

I have not seen an app so thoroughly ruined since Apple ruined Music with iOS 7. I chose this mobile app originally for its impressive simplicity. I need measurement and time, and well-researched, not trendy UX. 1. colors:i dont care about the palette but, the color here is not used well to convey information. Things are harder to read than before. Gray text on a mint background, the brightness value is too similar. put the app into Grayscale mode and see. 2. Photos of brewing methods? Giant garish, shadowed photo icons for brewing methods? Massive waste of space. Im not going to sit and stare at a tiny floating photo of a press pot. MOBILE! 3. my own recipes get a stupid gray box? the giant photos mean that only a few entries fit on the page; I dont want to scroll to find my Pourover recipes. Nest them, or use smaller icons, or better: text. 4. "Pourover" and "Method" links do exactly the same thing inside a recipe screen. Pick one. unlink the other. 5. Hotdog timer circle. Over the next :30 seconds your coffee will bloom, and two balloons will battle to the death. 6. The only reason the lower 2/3 of the screen slides is to compensate for the text and spacing that is entirely too large. 7. Ratio is a setting; the UI needs edit in the view interface. save, name, reset belong on another interface. you had it right the first time. 8. Tapping the brew time sections has no feedback. What does tapping them do? Can I start the timer and skip a section? Cant tell. Please fix.

This was my go to app for making all types of coffee. I was saddened when it wouldnt launch under iOS 9 and I needed to find an alternative. Today I was thrilled to discover it has been updated and refreshed to reflect the times. Dont let the Skeuomorphism holdouts scare you off. This app is still the most flexible and useful coffee app in the store. I would gladly pay for it again if I needed to. Worth every penny!
